Corey is a Principal in Korn Ferry’s Chicago office and is core member of the Consumer Practice. 

Corey leads a variety of CEO, Divisional President/GM, and Heads of Sales and Chief Marketing Officer searches. His work spans a variety of ownership structures including family owned, publicly traded, and private equity backed companies in CPG food & beverage and consumer durables.

He brings a strong affinity for leading brands and over ten years of retained executive search and leadership advisory experience. Corey is known for consistently identifying and recruiting best in class leaders and focused execution.

Highlights of his recruitment career include the placement of the Chief Transformation Officer for a Fortune 50 company, several board build outs, and numerous middle market CEO placements.   

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he spent several years with another global executive search firm where he worked on senior level searches across a variety of functions. Before that, he was with a boutique executive search firm where he focused on industrial, consumer, and IT engagements. 

Corey has also worked in a project capacity for a leading national outplacement consultancy firm, in business development for a publicly-traded real estate investment trust, and as a Manager in the Technology Business Unit of a professional services firm focused on trade association management. The breadth of his professional experience has made him a better advisor.

He has served on a number of non-profit and community boards, most recently serving on the School Board of a private Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade school in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. He has also been a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and the Executives’ Club of Chicago.

Corey holds a bachelor degree in Marketing from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business Administration.
