He is also a key member of the CEO & Board Practice. With a passion for helping companies transform, evolve and grow, David specialises in executive search, succession planning, leadership development and consulting assignments for financial services clients across the world. He is experienced at the C-suite and board level, with a particular focus on banking (Corporate and Retail), financial exchanges, insurance, wealth and asset management, and private equity.

Based out of the Singapore office, he works with various organizations from publicly-traded to smaller private firms as well as family-owned businesses. Having lived and worked across continents, he has conducted hundreds of engagements across Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, the US and the UK.

David enjoys coaching and mentoring executives on leadership issues and is passionate in ensuring that succession processes deliver diverse, equitable and inclusive results.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he was a partner in London and Singapore with another leading professional services firm. In that role he led the Global Banking business and had previously built a successful corporate officers practice. In this role he developed extensive experience in functional hiring, helping to appoint group CFOs, CROs, GCs, and Chief Auditors for some of the world’s largest and most complex financial institutions.

David began his career at PwC, where he provided advice to clients in the insurance and asset management sectors.

David holds a BA in History from the University of Reading.
