Mr. Wise leads North American Advisory Sales for Korn Ferry, and is a member of the North American Leadership Team.
Mr. Wise advises boards and executive teams on executive pay and board governance, and on creating incentives that support their company's strategy and operating model. He has advised teams at number of prominent public and private organizations, ranging from Fortune 10 companies to mission-driven not-for-profit organizations.
Mr. Wise works extensively with alternative asset managers and private equity firms on their portfolios, and has expertise spanning multiple sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, media, chemical, consumer products, construction, manufacturing, retail, and public sectors.
Mr. Wise operates at the forefront of thought leadership around executive incentives and human behavior. He is a frequent speaker at corporate governance events and national conferences, and is featured regularly in national newspapers, magazines and television outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, US News & World Report, Forbes, Bloomberg TV, and CBS Evening News. He has authored numerous articles, was a contributing writer for the Harvard Business Review book How CEOs Can Fix Capitalism, and has lectured in both university and graduate school settings.
Mr. Wise holds an MBA in management of organizations from Columbia Business School, and a BA in organizational behavior and management from Brown University, where he graduated with honors. He is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma national business honor society, NASPP, WorldatWork, and is a Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP).
