With ESG investing as a growing area of focus for many alternative asset managers, David advises Boards and executive teams on creating incentives that support their company’s values, mission and impact. Leveraging his background working on Capitol Hill as an advocate for environmental protection and sustainability,
David advises a number of prominent public and private organizations on embedding ESG into their pay systems, ranging from Fortune 10 companies to mission-driven not-for-profit organizations.
David is a contributing writer for the Harvard Business Review book How CEOs Can Fix Capitalism. David operates at the forefront of thought leadership around executive incentives and their impact on human behavior.
He is a frequent speaker at corporate governance events and national conferences, and is featured regularly in national newspapers, magazines and television outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, US News & World Report, Forbes, Bloomberg TV and CBS Evening News. He has authored numerous articles and has lectured in both university and graduate school settings.
David holds an M.B.A in Management of Organizations from Columbia Business School, and a B.A. in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University, where graduated with honors. He is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma national business honor society and is a Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP).
