Francois Auzerais

Francois is an executive search professional with over a decade at Korn Ferry, advising investment firms on talent management strategies. He leads Korn Ferry’s Private Markets Practice in North America and is a member of the Board & CEO Practice, serving General Partners, Limited Partners, Multi-Strategy Asset Managers, and their Portfolio Companies.

Francois specializes in recruiting C-Suite Investment Management Executives, Senior Investment Professionals, Operating Partners, Capital Raisers, and Fund Operations Professionals. His work scope extends to public company C-Suite executives and other domains outside the investment management industry. He also provides sponsor coverage for clients' portfolio companies, facilitating access to Korn Ferry’s talent advisory and acquisition services.

His talent advisory experience spans multiple asset classes, including Private Equity, Private Debt, Distressed Debt, Infrastructure, Growth Equity, GP Stakes, Secondaries, and Venture Capital. Limited Partner clients include Pension Plans, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Hospital Systems, Endowments, Foundations, Family Offices, and Fund-of-Funds. Prior to Korn Ferry, Francois worked at a specialized executive search firm focused on Latin American financial markets, where he specialized in recruiting for Private Equity and Hedge funds.

Francois holds a Master of Arts in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Trinity College.
