Based in San Francisco, Karena works closely with Boards and the C-suite on how to create differentiated business opportunities using AI and ML, cybersecurity, engineering, and software capabilities.
She joins Korn Ferry from another global executive search firm where she led the North America Tech Officers practice. Previously, she was a leader in Facebook’s engineering executive search team.
Before that, she was part of the IT practice at Bain and Company. Karena began her career in technology as an analyst in the electronics and high-tech practice of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
Karena earned a BA in political science from the University of California at Berkeley. A mother of two, Karena is active in community service and volunteers with organizations that serve children experiencing homelessness.
