Melissa Cameron is a Senior Client Partner in Executive Search, focused on the Financial Services practice.
Before joining Korn Ferry Melissa worked for one of Australia’s big four banks, NAB, as the Chief Operating Officer in Technology & Enterprise Operations. She joined NAB as Chief People Officer for Enabling Units in April 2021 and took on the COO role in March 2022.
Her HR sector experience includes working as Head of Human Resources for Asia Pacific at Alliance Bernstein, as well as a Senior HR advisor at Citadel in Asia.
Prior to joining NAB, Melissa led the Financial Services practice for Russell Reynolds in Australia working with clients in Global Banking & Markets, Private Equity, Insurance, Asset & Wealth Management Practices.
She has spent 25 years in Financial Services, including eight years at BlackRock in New York and Hong Kong as Global Chief Operating Officer and Head of Global Credit Product Strategy for the Credit business.
Melissa has a strong commercial lens and strategic focus. In her early career she was a lawyer, then an investment banker at JPMorgan. She has also worked in Investment for the New Zealand and Australian governments in New York.
Melissa has a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from University of Tasmania and a Masters of Business Administration from University of New South Wales.
Melissa is based in Melbourne.
