Michael Di Cicco is the Managing Director and head of Korn Ferry’s Executive Search business in Singapore. He also a leader in the Private Equity and the Real Assets practices across the region and a member of the Global Financial Markets and CEO & Board groups.
He brings deep experience and a track record of success with a particular strength in helping private markets funds build their own teams and grow value in the companies into which they invest. He works with public and private companies as well global and regional investors spanning private equity and debt, venture capital, real estate, energy, and infrastructure.
Michael has more than 25 years of consulting and executive search experience. He advises clients across finding the right talent, assessing potential, aligning incentives and accelerating performance.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Michael spent several years with another global executive search and consulting firm, where he led the Private Equity and Investment Management practices in Asia Pacific.
A career entrepreneur, Michael co-founded three digital companies that became market leaders in Asia across communications, connectivity for travelers and online education, and achieved exits in the public and private markets.
He currently serves as a board or CEO advisor to early-stage companies involved in sustainability sectors. He previously served on the advisory board JIDA Capital Partners, a clean energy fund with a portfolio of 600MW of renewable power in China.
Currently based in Singapore, he has also lived in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Manila. Michael graduated with Distinction from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and started his career as a foreign correspondent for United Press International, Bloomberg and BusinessWeek.
