Michael Di Cicco has more than 25 years of experience helping private equity funds grow their teams and the companies into which they invest. 

Michael’s track record spans private equity and debt, venture capital, real estate and infrastructure, and it runs through the entire investment life-cycle.​

Michael advises on forming new fund platforms and on recruiting investing, operating, finance and fundraising executives. He also assembles and leads industry consulting teams to help investors assess talent in potential acquisitions and then develop management teams and systems and processes once the deal is done.​

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Michael spent several years with another international executive search firm, where he led the Private Equity and Investment Management practices in Asia Pacific.​

A career entrepreneur and angel investor, Michael co-founded three technology companies that became market leaders in Asia across internet telephony, connectivity and online education and achieved exits in the public and private markets. ​

He also served on the advisory board of JIDA Capital Partners, the General Partner of CGN Capital Partners Fund III, a clean energy focused infrastructure fund with a US$2 billion portfolio of wind farms, hydro power, solar farms and enabling technology in China.​

Michael is journalist by training and started his career as a foreign correspondent for United Press International, Bloomberg and BusinessWeek.​

Currently based in Singapore, he has also lived in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Manila, and he has deep experience on the ground throughout the region.
