Rob is a seasoned executive search and leadership advisory professional with over 30 years of experience across the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Rob was a Partner and Global Co-Sector Lead for the Insurance Practice at Heidrick & Struggles. He built a strong track record of successfully placing C-suite executives and Board directors across banks, insurers, distributors, asset managers, and private capital firms throughout Asia Pacific.
Rob specializes in aligning senior talent with business strategy, while also supporting organizations with leadership assessment, development, and succession planning.
Originally from Canada, Rob has lived and worked in Asia Pacific since 1995, with extended periods in Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Earlier in his career, he founded and successfully exited a direct marketing agency. He then spent five years with American Express in the payments industry, followed by senior regional and country-level distribution leadership roles at MetLife in Asia. Rob later moved into insurance consulting at WTW, where he led business development and delivery of strategic projects across the region, before transitioning into executive search with a dedicated focus on the insurance and financial services sectors.
Rob holds an Honors Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and an Executive MBA from Aalto University.
