His role focuses on bringing the whole Korn Ferry firm to the benefit of his clients, looking at their priorities and ensuring we bring our best capabilities in support of their needs leveraging his deep experience and expertise as a buyer of consulting services over three decades.

Tony joined Korn Ferry in 2022, after 7 years running his own global consultancy and coaching business in both London and Hong Kong. Before that he spent over three decades in senior HR roles in financial services including CHRO for ABN AMRO, CHRO for RBS Global Banking & Markets and CHRO for Coutts Bank.  More recently he was the Global COO for HSBC HR, based in Hong Kong.

He has deep experience in leading, advising and consulting on M&A deals, most recently with the acquisition of Getronics NV, a global IT services firm, for a number of investors. He subsequently became interim CHRO to lead the execution of the value creation plan achieving savings in excess of EU30m.

Tony is an accredited coach and President of the ICF Hong Kong Chapter. He has an MBA and a Masters in Leadership & Coaching. He holds a number of Fellowships and Membership positions with professional associations in HK and the UK. He has also published 3 books on HR with his co-writer Peter Reilly.
