At Korn Ferry, Mr. Ma has provided his consulting expertise to a wide range of complex organizations in the engineering, mining and financial industries. Many of his assignments cover multiple business units and multiple geographies.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Ma led the remuneration function of the Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway, and was responsible for the planning and implementation of compensation and benefits policies.
Mr. Ma's expertise spans many areas, including performance metric modeling, remuneration risk assessment and management, total remuneration and benefit review, short term incentive design and implementation, long term incentive development and valuation, and special compensation benchmarking. Because of his special knowledge and skill set, he is involved in numerous global assignments.
He provides consulting advice on executive compensation design, total remuneration strategy, performance diagnostic, incentive alignment and calibration, and special compensation research / benchmarking. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Ma is Korn Ferry's Canadian national technical lead in executive reward.
Mr. Ma holds degrees in business administration and economics from York University, in Toronto.
