Mr. Waterman brings over 20 years of experience in executive search.  He has led Chief Financial Officer engagements for a broad array of public, private, and private-equity backed clients.  With a special focus on Industrial, Consumer and Technology markets, Mr. Waterman has served clients ranging from prominent Fortune 100 companies to mid-cap and fast-growing smaller businesses.  He has also led additional projects building out the finance leadership team for clients, including Chief Accounting Officers, Divisional Finance Leadership, Chief Audit Executives, and FP&A and Treasury leads.

A significant amount of Mr. Waterman's projects have been for private equity-backed portfolio companies.  He partners closely with both portfolio company and private equity firm leadership to bring in top-tier CFO talent that can lead companies through both growth and operational efficiency efforts to yield successful transactions.

Mr. Waterman has been a contributor to several industry thought leadership pieces including those with The Wall Street Journal and Deloitte.

He began his executive search career with Korn Ferry in 2000 before spending 14 years at Heidrick & Struggles.  There, he was a  Partner and a member of the firm's Financial Officers Practice. Mr. Waterman rejoined Korn Ferry in 2017. He began his career in commercial roles serving the manufacturing and technology sectors.

Mr. Waterman received his Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
