With more than 15 years of experience in management consulting within the financial services marketplace, Mr. Maluf brings a wealth of knowledge to his client base. He works with clients in such diverse segments as retail and wholesale banks, insurance and pension, investment banks and capital markets, asset management, private bank and private equity. He is focused on helping clients find key talent for strategic positions, applying his deep knowledge about the financial industry both in terms of market as in terms of management.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Maluf worked for Booz Allen Hamilton, where he was the partner in charge of financial services for Brazil and Latin America and, subsequently, for infrastructure and public services.
At Booz Allen Hamilton, Mr. Maluf managed important projects for leading institutions in a broad set of areas, such as strategy, operations, organization and governance, risk management, marketing and distribution channels, and evaluation of new businesses. Before this, he built his own consulting firm focused on the financial industry, with deep specialization in risk management, treasury, capital markets and management controls.
Mr. Maluf earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Escola Politecnica (USP) as well as a master's and Ph.D degrees in business administration, both from FEA-USP.
