Senior Client Partner

Michael Givner is a Senior Client Partner in the Consumer & Commercial Financial Services practice for Korn Ferry's Global Financial Services sector based in the Firm's New York office.

Michael works closely with major financial institutions, banks of all sizes, and private equity-backed financial services companies, advising leaders within these organizations on a myriad of human capital matters. Michael specializes in working with lenders (both consumer and commercial), and has a deep understanding of the competitive market, regulatory environment, and talent landscape surrounding lending businesses.

Michael is primarily focused on delivering executive search for his clients, and has successfully placed senior executives across a variety of roles and functions including Chief Executive, Line-of-Business Leadership, Operations, Finance, Treasury, Risk and Sales. He is also a member of the firm's Risk Management Center of Expertise.

Michael joined Korn Ferry in early 2012, after spending several years with another search firm in Charlotte, North Carolina where he was responsible for client management and search execution as a member of the firm's Corporate Finance & Accounting, Commercial Banking and Wealth Management practices. Michael began his career in wealth management and financial planning.

Michael earned a bachelor's degree in business from Wake Forest University.
