Samuel D. Schear is a Principal and leader of the Korn Ferry Real Estate Practice based in New York City.

Sam brings deep experience in executive search across the full spectrum of the real estate industry. He partners with developers, public and private owner operators, institutional investors, family offices, private equity sponsors, and diversified real estate platforms on senior leadership mandates.

Sam has executed searches across major US markets and across a wide range of real estate strategies. His experience includes acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management, construction, development, property operations, capital formation and corporate leadership roles.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Schear spent nine years developing and advancing the US-Israel relationship on behalf of a national advocacy organization, working closely with Congress, foreign leaders, and Fortune 500 executives. In this role, he oversaw policy, advocacy, and congressional affairs and developed extensive experience in lobbying and negotiation.

Mr. Schear serves on the boards of Israel Friends, Eagles Wings, and The Gatestone Institute. He graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in History and Middle East Affairs.
