Senior Principal, CEO Succession

Ashlyn Lowe is a Senior Principal of CEO Succession in Korn Ferry’s Assessment & Succession practice. Ashlyn partners with her clients to align executive succession and progression planning with the long-term strategic needs of their organizations.

Before joining Korn Ferry, Ashlyn was an Engagement Leader and Consultant for Heidrick & Struggles in their CEO & Board and Assessment & Development practices. She was responsible for leading engagements with boards and CEOs to facilitate CEO succession planning and board alignment. She also led leadership assessments and team coaching across industries and was an active member of the firm’s global philanthropic committee.

Prior to that, she worked for Lotis Blue Consulting (formerly Axiom Consulting Partners) as a Consultant in their behavioral transformation practice. Her work focused on behavioral science and spanned across assessment center facilitation, executive team coaching, advanced DE&I analytics, and organizational & operating model design. She was also an active member of the firm’s DE&I Committee.

An industrial-organizational psychologist by training, her expertise includes CEO and executive assessment, board effectiveness, and leadership and team development.

Ashlyn earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Additionally, she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University. She currently serves as President of the Chicago Lights Associate’s Board, a local non-profit focused on advancing educational opportunities for underprivileged and underrepresented populations.
