Chris Thompson

Chris joined Korn Ferry in 2013 from another Zurich based Search firm and has been a core member within the EMEA Industrial Practice for the past 10+ years.

He leads Search assignments with a focus on the broader Diversified Manufacturing, Capital Equipment, Packaging, Automation and Industrial Services space as well as key functional appointments in HR and Supply Chain verticals).

With a sincere and intrinsic curiosity and passion for his clients' industries, Chris has been building long-term client relationships with Global Industrial companies such as public listed organizations, family-owned companies, mid-cap’s and private equity portfolio companies. 

Chris is passionate about leadership and human capital and how organisations effectively attract, retain and deploy talent to gain a competitive advantage.

A global citizen, he has lived and worked in Moscow, Zurich, London, Singapore, Muscat, Stockholm and Geneva during the past 25 years.

Prior to Search, he started his career in banking for some years in Sweden, before joining a leading executive aviation group, responsible for market growth and client development for the EMEA & Russian markets.

Chris is educated at Halmstad University, Sweden with a major in business administration.

He is bilingual in Swedish and English, with intermediate German, French, Norwegian and Danish.
