For Jerome, the most rewarding aspect of working in the interim/contract recruiting industry is finding Salo’s consultants meaningful work. This gives them the opportunity to help clients manage a parental or medical leave, fill in gaps on their team or support the team during a transformation or strategic project.

Before joining Salo’s business development team in Feb. 2021, Jerome worked for more than 30 years in accounting, finance and operation in the insurance brokerage, health and non-profit industries. Jerome has held positions including Chief Financial Officer, Director of Finance and Operations and Controller. By bringing this knowledge and expertise to Salo, Jerome offers a unique perspective for both clients and consultants. 

Jerome is a proud graduate of Michigan State University, where he received a degree in accounting. He is an Illinois registered CPA and is a member of the AICPA and IL CPA Society. When he is not busy meeting with clients or interviewing consultants, Jerome enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters and two Boston Terriers at his home in Glenview, Illinois.
