Over the past 20 years, Mr. Weitzel has worked with thousands of executives in the leadership development space, having been employed at two of the top-tier leadership development organizations in the world, the Center for Creative Leadership and Duke Corporate Education.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Weitzel was Duke CE's North America director for business development. During his eight-year tenure there, the organization was consistently ranked the world's number one custom executive education provider by the Financial Times.
Before Duke CE, Mr. Weitzel worked at Siemens Medical Solutions, holding positions as IT manager and North America director of leadership development. He also spent five years at the Center for Creative Leadership designing and delivering leadership development programs. Mr. Weitzel started his career in New York City working for AT&T in IT hardware sales.
Mr. Weitzel earned his masters of business administration from Duke University and graduated from Lafayette College with a degree in engineering and business.
He serves as adjunct faculty for Duke University's psychology department where he teaches a course on the social psychology of business.
Mr. Weitzel is the author of two books focused on the basic tools of development. His book, Feedback That Works: How to Build and Deliver Your Message has sold over 50,000 copies and been translated into seven different languages.
