Sydney, Australia, 4 May, 2021 - Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY) today announced that Professor Adrian Piccoli has joined the firm as a senior client partner in the firm’s Executive Search practice. Professor Piccoli will lead Korn Ferry’s Education practice across Australasia.

Professor Piccoli joins Korn Ferry following a career dedicated to furthering education in Australia. He served as a Member of NSW Parliament for 19 years and as the NSW Minister for Education for six years from 2011 until 2017.

He has more than 20 years experience in business and government where he forged a reputation as a progressive public policy thinker and advocate. As Education Minister, Professor Piccoli managed a government agency with an annual budget of more than A$13 billion with operational responsibility for 100,000 staff and regulatory responsibility for non-government schools, the NSW vocational education & training sector and universities.

Professor Piccoli is a Director of the Bell Shakespeare Company and was the founding Director of the Gonski Institute for Education at the University of New South Wales. The Gonski Institute was established in 2018 with a mission to address growing inequality in Australian education as well as improving access for students to high-quality education wherever they may live or go to school.

In 2017 he was made a Fellow of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders.

He is a Professor of Practice, the University of New South Wales (2018), and Professor Piccoli holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University.
