Korn Ferry celebrates completion of inaugural EMEA Talent Academy Programme

London, 17 December, 2015 – The Korn Ferry division of Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY), the preeminent global people and organisational advisory firm, celebrated the graduation of its first group of recruiting and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) professionals from its European Talent Academy in Warsaw.

A global training initiative lasting eight weeks, the programme aims to prepare participants for a future career in talent acquisition by developing core competencies in recruitment and expanding the foundational business skills of employees at all levels of the company – whether recent college graduates or recruiters with several years’ of experience.

Achieved through a modular curriculum approach that builds on existing Korn Ferry and Korn Ferry learning programs, it utilises the organisation’s Intellectual Property, best practices and resources. “The Talent Academy cohort programme consist of classroom learning, led by the program facilitator with a variety of guest speakers, who are typically current leaders in the organization, as well as hands on simulations and a job co-op component,” added Talent Academy Global Leader, Bernadette Pheifer.

Graduates of the first European cohort include ten employees representing several nationalities from Korn Ferry’s Warsaw Recruitment Centre of Excellence (RCOE).

Talent Academy graduate, Witold Sekulski, commented: “As the first participants of the Talent Academy in Warsaw we didn’t know what to expect, but the quality and in-depth training we have received is invaluable. We look forward to applying this newly acquired knowledge to effectively enhance our offering to customers.”

Ettore Landini, Managing Director, Search, EMEA at Korn Ferry added: “Having led the graduation certification with other executives from the leadership team, it is clear the initiative has already benefited them. Not only will the skills they’ve developed make a significant impact on their day-to-day business activities, but it will also prepare them for their next career move within the different service lines of the organisation.”

Korn Ferry’s Talent Academies are located in six locations worldwide including Dallas, Texas; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Warsaw, Poland; Shanghai, China; Pune, India; and Auckland, New Zealand.

Future classes will include programs for senior professionals.
