Ms. De Abreu has delivered successful business solutions for organizations in the public, not-for-profit, and private sectors. Her work includes implementing talent management frameworks for executives and feeder groups, conducting leadership assessments for public and private sector clients, and delivering leadership development programs.
Ms. De Abreu's areas of expertise include strategic human resources management, leadership assessment and development, talent management, competency modelling, performance management, career development, and succession planning.
She has led the development of integrated competency-based selection and performance management programs for organizations in high tech, mining, consumer goods, financial services, and public sectors.
Ms. De Abreu enjoys developing and delivering workshops and seminars to clients on a variety of human resource management topics.
Ms. De Abreu holds a master of arts degree in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Guelph. She also has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and applied studies from the University of Waterloo.
She has accreditations in competency methodologies, assessment methodologies, behavioral event interviewing and the Government of Canada's Appointment Framework. She is also a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association.
