Amanda Berning joined Korn Ferry in 2021 and serves as a Principal serving the Human Resources Practice.
In this role, Amanda supports mid to senior level executives within the HR function including senior- level generalist and functional leaders in compensation, benefits, learning and development, talent management, talent acquisition, DE&I and HRIS. Amanda partners with high-level talent for leading employers throughout the U.S.
Amanda brings over fifteen years of recruiting experience to Korn Ferry. She spent four years in Boston with a boutique, retained recruiting firm where she supported executive hiring for the digital, software technology and financial services sectors. Amanda then worked in corporate talent acquisition for a Fortune 20 company in the life sciences sector where she was responsible for partnering with leaders to recruit director-to president-level hires globally throughout the company.
Most recently Amanda was a senior partner with another boutique search firm where she was focused on recruiting HR professionals for publicly traded high growth companies as well as private equity and employee-owned companies located predominately throughout the Midwest.
Amanda’s impeccable track record of success and her keen ability to assess talent make her one of the most sought-after partners in the industry.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University. She is an active volunteer and fundraiser for The Dragonfly Foundation, a non-profit which supports pediatric cancer patients and their families.
