Sector Leader, Technology and Digital COE

Amy McCain leads the Midwest and East Technology and Digital COE for Korn Ferry’s Professional Search division. She is responsible for team leadership, business development and engagement execution for the region.

Amy knows that every position has a nuance, and successful recruiters are able to pinpoint those eccentricities in order to find the perfect candidate for each and every role.  She takes pride in her ability to make mutually beneficial matches for her clients and candidates, helping to elevate careers and take business to the next level. 

Amy has a successful track record placing IT leaders and individual contributors into Fortune 500 companies, mid-sized business and start-ups across all industries.  Some areas of focus include Digital Transformation, Cloud and Infrastructure Architecture, ERP Implementations, Product and Project Management, Software Engineering, Security and Data Science and Development.

Amy has over 20 years of experience as an IT recruiter.  She started her career with Robert Half International where she spent 17 years building and growing the Information Technology consulting and direct placement divisions of the Cincinnati market.  She then moved over to Lucas Group to lead the Midwest technology division focused on retained/contained, direct-hire and interim solutions. 

Amy’s free time is spent at sporting events with her two sons, traveling across the world and going to music venues.  She holds a B.S. in Mass Communication from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
