Andrew Murray

Andrew Murray is a Principal in the Global Consumer Market of Korn Ferry, based in the Firm's Singapore office.

Mr. Murray brings significant experience in serving a broad range of clients across consumer, retail and hospitality multinationals, as well as digital, education and media organisations. He has more than 16 years' executive search experience, both globally and regionally, across Europe and Asia Pacific, having advised both international and regional clients. Mr. Murray's functional experience is diverse and includes general management, sales and marketing, legal and finance as well as human resources roles. In addition, he has recruited key leadership roles for fashion, luxury, and online companies.

Mr. Murray has worked with global multinational organisations, as well as more regional businesses within Asia Pacific, having moved to Singapore in 2008. His in-country experience across the region also includes China, India and Japan, as well as substantial in-depth work within the Southeast Asian markets. Mr. Murray has also worked on several assessment and development projects, outside of executive search, and advises clients on a variety of human capital topics.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Murray spent three years with one of the fastest growing and leading online retailers in Southeast Asia, Lazada, where he was responsible for the group’s Human Resources function, developing it from scratch, helping scale the business across the region, culminating in its purchase by Alibaba.

Mr. Murray holds a bachelor's degree, with honours, in physical and mathematical sciences from University College London.
