Bruce focuses on professional search assignments in the Technology, FinTech, Payments and Professional Services spaces with a strong secondary specialty in Financial Services.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Bruce spent 7 years as a Partner in two boutique executive search firms where he led executive searches and developed deep client relationships in financial services, professional services, and with employee-owned companies (ESOPs).

Earlier in his career, he was a business development leader for one of the largest payment and FinTech sponsor banks in the US. Bruce also co-founded and led the operation of a regional consumer lending company.

Following graduate school, he served in various HR roles for global companies including HR Business Partner and in-house Executive Recruiting. 

Mr. Cooey graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Master of Arts in Human Resources/ Industrial Relations.
