Principal, Global Life Sciences

Connor Keegan brings a decade of Executive Search experience and currently leads as a Principal within Korn Ferry’s Global Life Sciences Practice being based out of its’ Chicago headquarters.

He assumes a strategic market leadership, new client development, and tactical execution role at the company serving various sized client organizations within Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Diagnostics, Medical Device/MedTech, Life Sciences Technology, and Digital Health industries. Connor also leads the practice as a subject matter expert in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

While at Korn Ferry, Connor has partnered with global client organizations from high-growth startups to VC/PE backed and Fortune 5 to 500 corporations having placed numerous executives from Board Directors, CXO, SVP, and VP leaders across technical, operational, scientific, strategic, and commercial functions.

Connor brings a passion for and deep domain expertise in the tech enabled Life Sciences marketplace having worked with numerous organizations on furthering their digital capabilities, platform solutions, and operational systems thru proven talent acquisition strategies. He’s also supported digital transformation, AI workforce development, and leadership succession advisory projects with large blue-chip enterprises as they look to remain competitive in the global marketplace. 

Before joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Keegan led the end-to-end project execution for all executive search engagements within the Global Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice at DHR Global. As Managing Sr. Associate, Connor worked directly with the nation’s most reputable Hospitals, IDN’s, and Medical Groups in addition to industry leading global Life Science organizations.

He brings executive search experiences across other industry practices to include Consumer Healthcare, Hospitality, CPG, F&B, Wellness/Fitness, Retail, Academia, Non-Profit, DE&I, Private Equity, and Venture Capital which have all contributed to his comprehensive knowledge in understanding how varying functions, businesses, markets, and industries interoperate with each other.

Prior to his career in executive search, Connor spent several years as an Investment Banking Associate with Focal Point Partners, a mid-market Investment Bank based in Chicago. In this role, Mr. Keegan provided M&A financial advisory and evaluation analyses for both sell-side and buy-side clients in addition to Special Situations such as Leveraged Buy-Out’s (LBOs) and Debt Advisory work in Capital Restructuring.

Connor holds dual Bachelor of Science Degrees in Finance and Marketing from Miami University’s Farmer School of Business with an emphasis and additional working experience in Political Science.
