David’s training, coaching and consultancy is based upon his years of experience as a practicing project/program and contract manager in programs as diverse as; procurement of rolling stock, moving a factory from Europe to far east, rolling out PM methodology in a high tech engineering organization.

He has practiced and taught in Europe, the Americas and the Far East, delivering across different cultures and time zones.

He has a practical, down to earth, but high energy delivery style which engages people keeping their attention and interest through story telling, anecdotes and practical examples, along with a deep understanding of the underlying theory.

David is currently working with the largest steel producer in the world, helping them to put the competence and capability in place to implement their  $mulitiBillion decarb program. Designing, delivering and consulting on their approach.

David builds on long term relationships with his clients to enable tailored learning, for example he worked with a major agri-chemical firm to develop a training for their scientists and engineers in how to better manage their many collaborations with 3rd parties, he then rolled this out across 4 continents.

David’s main area of interest is developing technical people to deliver in non-technical fields; engineers writing contracts, SMEs becoming program managers, scientists moving into business negotiation.

David’s wide experience plus his passion for learning mean that he can quickly become effective in new engagements, enabling people to reflect on how they learn, so they can better embed the tools, techniques and methodologies.

As a PMP™, delivering program, project, risk, and contract management education, David also helps people to improve their communication, problem solving, and leadership skills.
