He has worked globally for blue chip companies, incubators, and start- and scale ups. His client list includes Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Hershey’s, Cargill, Colgate-Palmolive, Kellogg’s, AkzoNobel, Philips and Danone.

He is a well-established organisational design expert, supporting Chief Innovation Officers, Chief Growth Officers, Chief R&D Officers and their teams to deliver more market impact from innovation, deliver effective breakthrough innovation, reduce time to market, increase agility and become more efficient.

His programs typically cover Open Innovation, Lean R&D, Design Thinking, Agile Innovation and Digitised Innovation.

In his 25 years of industry and consulting experience, in addition to innovation, he has been involved in corporate strategy development, marketing and manufacturing operations.

Harmen holds a BA in Marketing from The Hague School of Economics and an MBA from Delta University in Utrecht, Netherlands.
