Jay Sukumaran is an Associate Client partner at Korn Ferry. Jay specializes in complex global programs that involve engaging aligning and developing staff at different levels in areas of people strategy and performance.

Clients benefit from her specialization in helping them translate their business plans into strategic human resources operations with successful execution.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, she was with AlixPartners as part of the Leadership & Org Effectiveness Practice, and the People Business Partner for the Enterprise Improvement Practice.

She has led teams that define new ways in performance management, learning and development, leadership excellence, and wellness programs.

She has led efforts with clients to define strategic diversity and inclusion plans and operationalized them with multiple year timelines.

Ms. Sukumaran has over 18 years in the professional services industry supporting technology, audit, automobile and retail clients on multiple projects translating business plans into talent strategic and tactical operational plans.

Served as talent lead for $3 billion internal global audit technology project. She has helped to re-design, define and roll out a Talent Review and Succession Planning project across a mid-size retail client. Developed a shared-services organization in India for technology, finance, audit, and communications clients to increase operational efficiency. She has  completed an organizational diagnostic process for a Saudi Arabia based oil and gas client and developed a performance management framework and competency framework.

Jay worked in the recent years on inclusive leadership and top team alignment with private equity clients. She has led the design and roll out of Inclusive Leadership sessions that enabled Leaders across the globe to raise awareness on unconscious bias and implement practical ways to drive inclusion on their teams. She has experience defining the framework for Enterprise Resource Groups for Asian leadership and has presented in the ASCEND NYC panel "Women in Leadership�.

Jay holds a master's degree in human resources management from the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University.
