Jimmy Ho

Office Managing Director
Jimmy Ho is the Office Managing Director in Korn Ferry's Hong Kong office and a member of the Firm's Global Industrial Market.

Serving clients' human resource needs across the Greater China Region (GCR) - including Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, Mr. Ho's expertise spans across the industrial products and services, logistics and outsourcing, process and contract manufacturing, and the oil & gas (downstream) sectors. Mr. Ho is also a core member of the gaming, entertainment and hospitality sector in Asia Pacific, as well as an active member of our COE (Center of Expertise) for Supply Chain and Chief Human Resources Officer practice.

Mr. Ho was the pioneer who spearheaded the firm's Pearl River Delta (PRD) strategy. Addressing the clients' unique human resource needs in the region, he had an eye for opportunities and his vision was proved right even before the Beijing government officially launched the Greater Bay Concept in 2017. Case in point includes his efforts in building gaming practice primarily for Macau as early as 2002. He advised and helped selected clients start their greenfield gaming and entertainment businesses successfully by recruiting the best possible talents from overseas. Today, Mr. Ho is particularly active in this space, especially now that Macau is the largest gaming hub in the world.

He also single-handedly put Korn Ferry on the southern China map by starting up the Guangzhou office (Executive Search business) as early as 2008/2009, where he held the office managing director position until 2015.

Lately, he also started a Family-Owned Business (FOB) practice, and brought his extensive experience to the table by serving the exceptional and subtle transformational needs of FOBs - both listed and unlisted - across Hong Kong and southern China region.

Prior to joining the firm in 2000, Mr. Ho spent seven years with another global executive search firm as their Executive Director based in Hong Kong. Before his search career, he was a Product Controller at Hong Kong Telecom.

Mr. Ho earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Sheffield, U.K. and an Honors Diploma (Distinction) in Personnel Management from Lingnan College.
