Mr. Hammerich has worked as a trusted advisor with multiple global F1000 clients with up to USD 100bn in revenues.
Mr. Hammerich has considerable experience in advising senior clients on how to align a company's talent strategy and capabilities with the overall strategy and culture.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Hammerich led the European Leadership & Succession Practice for a global executive search firm. Earlier, he led the EMEA and Global Technology sector and was instrumental in establishing its presence in the Nordic region. He was a member of that firm's global executive committee for several years.
Mr. Hammerich is a published author and distinguished thought leader, co-authoring the book "Fish Can't See Water, on how national culture impacts strategy definition and execution. The book became Management book of the year in Denmark and was praised by The Economist.
Previously, Mr. Hammerich worked for Apple Computer as the UK Regional Marketing Director, based in London, and as EMEA Marketing leader for the Education Business unit in Paris. He was also the CEO of the first technology VC-financed company in Denmark, and in 1988, launched Apple Computer in Denmark as its Marketing Director. Before this, he worked for Hewlett-Packard in Denmark.
He has been nominated one of the world's most influential headhunters by BusinessWeek.
Mr. Hammerich received his MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Distinction) and his M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Aarhus, Denmark. He is fluent in Danish, English, Swedish, and Norwegian.
