Karissa Hayko is Area Leader in Korn Ferry's Legal Division and a former practicing attorney. As an Area Leader she directs Legal Professional Search in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, providing top attorney recruitment services to law firms, non-profits, Associations, and Corporations. She has over fifteen years of experience supporting and advising clients in the Legal industry.
With her depth and breadth of experience in client development in Legal, Karissa has developed an extensive network of clients and candidates. Karissa works closely with her teams and clients to understand current and future business needs and demands to determine recruitment solutions that will best suit both candidates and clients for long-term success.
Karissa's approach and foundation is to partner and consult with both client and candidates to offer them a tailored and results-driven experience.
Karissa earned her B.S. in Psychology from Penn State University and a J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University.
She joined the organization in 2017 to grow and lead a team in the Mid-Atlantic. Karissa previously worked for start-ups, legal technology solutions companies, recruitment firms, and leading professional services organizations. She practiced law with an AmLaw 150 firm in Baltimore, before embracing her passion to support her industry peers offering consultative business solutions.
Karissa contributes to Korn Ferry's training programs and its regional Community Service Days. She is a member of several Legal Bar Associations and other professional and legal organizations.
