Kate is a Senior Partner with Korn Ferry’s Professional Search North America team, consulting with business leaders on talent gaps, organizational design and succession planning. As a part of Korn Ferry’s HR Center of Excellence, she brings 15 years working with HR practitioners and a true passion for talent matchmaking and employer empowerment.
Based out of our Atlanta office, she has a background in HR, account management and leadership, offering a unique perspective to her clients. Her passion for people along with her business acumen strengthens her ability to align talent needs with organizational goals. Growing up with a father in HR leadership, Kate immersed herself in understanding people through personality assessments, communication styles and business needs from an early age.
After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Business, Kate started her professional career with Prudential Financials' Group Insurance division. The first 4 years of her career were spent within Group Insurance Operations, providing a strong understanding of the importance of process, policy and internal communication. She was recruited onto the Middle Market Account Management team, partnering with multiple Account Executives and client accounts supporting employee populations from 1,000 to 10,000. In 2015, Kate was promoted into a leadership position, leading sales support and account management teams for Prudential’s Group Insurance’s Middle Market Southern offices. Her leadership lead to multiple internal promotions and a strong performing team.
During her time with Prudential she partnered closely with HR, leading a change management cross functional team during reorganizations and ensuring consistent and positive messaging. The opportunity to help employees navigate through change drove Kate into her next career chapter.
After spending close to 10 years in employee benefits, Kate decided to make a career change, finding the challenging yet rewarding world of recruiting. Starting with a boutique recruiting firm in Atlanta, she quickly learned the industry and became a well respected full desk recruiter focused on Human Resources talent. An avid networker, Kate began her conversations with Lucas Group (acquired by Korn Ferry in 2021) in 2018, holding off on making the transition to the organization until January 2021. Since joining, she’s been a top recruiter across HR’s National HR team and a mentor to new hires.
Kate continues to expand her knowledge in HR as she partners with Korn Ferry business partners in Advisory, Total Rewards, Digital and Talent solutions.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Arcadia University.
