Principal, Technology & Investment Management
Magdalena is a Principal at Korn Ferry’s Frankfurt office and a member of the firm’s Technology practice.
Her focus lies on Executive Search assignments with emphasis on the technology ecosystem including corporates, start-up and scale-up-environment and investors.
She specializes in roles at the intersection of Technology and Investment Management/Corporate Development with in-depth understanding of the Investment space and emphasis on Private Capital: Private Equity, Venture capital and technology allocations, e.g. Software, Clean Technology) as well as (Digital) Infrastructure. Additionally, she runs functional (IT/Finance/HR) search assignments across various industries.
Magdalena has developed her expertise having previously served a variety of clients within regulated, complex industries (Financial Services, Telecommunications) in Europe as well as Private Equity/Infrastructure funds and their portfolio companies in regard to Senior Executive roles and Non-Executive-Director positions.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Magdalena spent several years with another leading, large Executive Search firm as well as a specialized search-boutique where she was focusing on Financial Services across Investment Banking & Private Equity, Asset Management, Insurance and Retail Banking.
As a former young entrepreneur, Polish and German national, socialized in an international environment, she had the chance to explore a variety of professional environments, business cultures and developed a strong growth mindset.
Before her permanent relocation to Germany from Poland and changing her career path to Executive Search, Magdalena held international Business Development positions in mid-market family-owned companies helping them scale their businesses internationally.
She started her career in Forensic Consulting for financial institutions and public authorities in Poland where she built up a cross-border Polish-German business desk from scratch.
Given her background, Magdalena is a genuine sponsor of ESG and D&I and enjoys delivering highest quality results in that respect in order to achieve ambitious transformational goals in organizations she is advising
Magdalena earned a Master’s Degree in German Studies & Linguistics from the University of Warsaw and a postgraduate diploma in International Trade & Economics from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
She is business fluent in German, English, Polish and has a good command of French.
