He is currently a Sector Leader for the Human Resources COE in the Professional Search division at Korn Ferry. He is a natural leader who takes pride in his ability to build successful teams and long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients and candidates and strives to exceed their expectations.
Prior to this, Michael was the Senior Managing Partner of the Human Resources practice at Lucas Group, where he focused on filling human resources-related roles for clients on the West Coast. He placed both generalist HR leaders and those with specialty areas of expertise with clients across a wide range of industries. Michael's achievements at Lucas Group were recognized with President’s Club, Sterling, Gold, and Diamond Club awards.
Earlier, Michael worked as a Regional Director at Kelly Law Registry for six years, where he launched his career in recruiting. Michael managed a team of recruiters focused on placing lawyers and paralegals with law firms. He consistently surpassed revenue generation expectations, with many of the clients asking for the team to staff entire project teams due to the high caliber of candidates they provided.
Michael has also worked as the Chair for the Pasadena Chapter of the Professionals in Human Resources Organization (PIHRA), where he worked closely with the volunteer board and chapter members to fulfill the mission of PIHRA and continuously enhance human resources through networking, learning, and advocacy.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Minnesota. He later attended Southwestern Law School and earned his Juris Doctor degree in law.
