Mithran has worked alongside CEOs and other senior executives over the last 25+ years on a range of strategy, performance, organisation and transformation challenges. This has involved driving organisational excellence in large enterprises, alongside driving growth, efficacy, customer experience and productivity improvement—in executive and consulting roles.

In terms of contemporary business issues and techniques, Mithran has addressed the challenges of digital (e.g. IoT, AI/ML, RPA), deployed Agile ways of working, used Design Thinking to find novel service solutions, and implemented Lean at scale.

Increasingly, Mithran has focused on human capital and behaviour as a key mechanism for optimising and sustaining corporate performance. At Korn Ferry, he is focused on applying Korn Ferry’s vast toolkit, experience and people-related analytics expertise to assist firms structure their organisations and drive people, team and corporate excellence.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he was a Senior Partner at a global operational improvement and organisational excellence firm, a senior executive at Telstra—where he drove large-scale transformation and productivity programs, Managing Partner of the Customer and Transformation practices in a global consultancy, and had other senior strategy consulting roles.

He has deep experience in heavy industry, telecommunications, government and professional services; with a lighter touch across several others e.g. financial services, FMCG, industrial products.

Mithran holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science and Accounting) degree from Monash University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants ANZ and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
