Since joining Korn Ferry in 2020, Mr. Ahn has led engagements with leading IT MNC & Domestic clients spanning a range of sectors including; IT & Professional services, Telecommunications, High Technology & Semiconductors, Fin-Tech, Software & Platforms (Digital, Cloud, etc.), and Systems & Devices. In addition, Mr. Ahn has also worked extensively with clients to provide IT functional leadership and talent needs across diverse industries including; Financial Services, Industrial and Advertising.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Ahn was a CEO and SVP of several Hanwha subsidiaries under Hanwha umbrella in Korea. At Hanwha group, Mr. Ahn was responsible for key assignments covering group owner’s agenda such as establishing and operating start-ups in accordance with the group’s efforts for digital transformation, open innovation and new business creation based on disruptive technologies. Before working for Hanwha, he experienced in working at Samsung SDS, especially in charge of carrying out various assignments covering CXO agenda development, business issue assessment, corporate visioning, PI, and business audit requested by CXO of Samsung subsidiaries and group control tower under Samsung umbrella. 

Mr. Ahn also got involved in a wide range of business consulting projects covering corporate, financial, operational and IT strategy at professional consulting firms such as PwC, IBM and BearingPoint, and had experience in working as a financial expert at leading financial institutes such as the KDB and Hyundaicard.

Mr. Ahn holds a Master’s degree from Duke University in the US and Bachelor's Degree from Hanyang University in Seoul.
