Murray brings a rare skillset and experience: deep in-house expertise in senior talent and HR leadership roles, coupled with strong global experience in consulting, working with C-suite leaders across a diverse range of sectors and geographies.?
Recent work includes CEO selection and succession planning, leadership strategy and development, and post-merger operating model design for clients in a range of sectors, including financial services, energy, utilities and technology.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Murray founded Priestman Associates, a niche consultancy focused on helping organisations make the most of their people.
His most recent in-house role was as Global Head of Talent for Macquarie Group Limited, where he had responsibility for organisational capability, performance, leadership capability, assessment, succession planning and culture (including risk culture) across the bank globally.?
Previous roles include consulting with a leading global advisory firm in Europe and North America, and time spent as a train driver and working in a comedy club.
Murray is certified in a range of psychometric tools and is an experienced and accredited executive coach.?
Murray holds a BA Hons in Modern History and Politics. He has a range of postgraduate qualifications including PRINCE2 program management, Lean and change management qualifications.
He has completed executive development programs at institutions included Stanford d.school, INSEAD and London Business School. ?
