Sara Sobczyk is a Principal in Korn  Ferry’s North American Healthcare Services Practice and is based in Atlanta, GA. 

Sara contributes Academic Medical Center and non-profit hospital and health system industry knowledge to senior search assignments.  She focuses her executive search work on Academic Leadership, Chief Executive Officers, Chief Nursing Officers, and Senior Management positions.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Sara was an Administrator of Clinic Operations at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta. There, she worked closely with senior executives supporting and implementing several initiatives to address the changing health care landscape. She was responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team comprised of administrative, nursing, research and physician members spanning several outpatient clinics and ambulatory surgery sites. 

Her responsibilities included operating, capital, malpractice, and School of Medicine budgets; opening new clinic sites; presenting strategic and quality initiatives to administrative and physician executives; and led day to day operations. Sara spent time as part of Bain & Company’s consulting support staff before attending graduate school where she completed a Graduate Administrative Internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital focusing on strategies to reduce recidivism in the Emergency Department and enhance continuity of care.

Sara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Enterprise Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, as well as a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
