Before joining Korn Ferry, he worked for an international executive search firm, where he specialized in Leadership Consulting, covering Assessment and Development, Talent Management, Corporate Governance and Organizational Design, Board Audits and Top Team Effectiveness, as well as Cultural and Change Management.
Prior to that, he was member of the Executive Board of BayWa, a listed trading services company. In this position, Stefan was responsible for the Agribusiness, with a turnover of approx. EUR 1.6 bn. with 2,100 employees.
Mr. Boetzel started his career with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, where he spent more than 13 years and progressed to partner, working with many stock-listed companies and SME‘s in varied industries.
Mr. Boetzel has gained extensive experience in supporting C-Suites and Boards, especially in Board and Governance issues, Talent and Leadership Management and operational HR issues.
His support for clients cover the following areas; Executive Diagnostics and Coaching, Top Team Performance Programs and Large Scale Assessments, esp. Post Merger Integrations.
Mr. Boetzel holds a degree in Business Administration from the University in Kiel, Germany. His Ph.D. thesis was about crisis diagnosis in international corporation.
He speaks German and English.
