Steven has partnered with countless law firms on strategic growth initiatives that range from recruiting attorneys with a specific skill set, to augmenting the bench of an in-demand practice area, to growing firm revenue through lateral partners, groups, and firm acquisitions.  

In addition, Steven has worked with Legal executives, CFOs, and CEOs to optimize the legal function within a corporation. He has consulted with small to mid-sized companies on when to hire their first in-house lawyer and assisted larger organizations on how to build efficiencies within the legal department via various proven tactics. These include implementing legal operational solutions or hiring impactful leaders within the legal department, starting with the GC or CLO and adding the team of attorneys, compliance professionals, and legal specialists trained to protect and enhance the business.   

Following his graduation from the University of Georgia, Steven worked with law firm and corporate leadership through his role with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) as Vice President of Business Development and Director of AAA’s New Orleans office. Steven parlayed his understanding of the intersection of business, law, and leadership into a legal consulting and recruiting career over twenty years ago. He has spent the last fifteen years with Lucas Group/Korn Ferry.
