Most recently, Sylvia was the Managing Director of a China Healthcare Fund. Prior to this, she held several regional senior management positions in leading Private Equity firms including CBC (formerly known as C-Bridge) and EQT (formerly known as Investor Asia).

Earlier, Sylvia founded AsiaSpec, which was merged into Novare, the human capital arm of Investor AB, and acted as the CEO for Novare Asia for five years. She also worked in Korn Ferry between 2000 and 2002 as a Consultant.

Sylvia holds a Bachelor’s degree from University of Western Ontario, as well as a Post-Graduate Diploma in HR & Training from University of Leicester. She is also a Certified Behavioural Consultant in DISC and a qualified Executive Coach.
