Principal
Mr. O’Malley consults and presents to clients on topics relating to diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, leadership, communications, and organizational development.
His work focuses on developing inclusive leadership competencies, the integration of diversity, equity and inclusion into business processes, multicultural education, management development, and culture change.
He has provided clients with strategic planning, workplace assessment, leadership coaching, team building, and workshops on topics ranging from increasing personal awareness to developing workplace skills. Recently he has become skilled in leading interactive learning on Zoom, Adobe Connect, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams platforms.
In the areas of diversity and inclusion, and leadership development, Mr. O’Malley has worked both nationally and internationally with clients such as Microsoft, Deloitte, the American Red Cross, Medtronic, Chevron, Salesforce, Capital One, and CNA. His work with these clients has focused on helping leaders create more inclusive environments where employees feel more engaged and committed to the vision of the organization.
Mr. O’Malley’s has previous experience working for Ameritech in Chicago, where he was the Manager of Diversity. In this role he was responsible for integrating concepts of diversity and workplace flexibility into the strategic thinking and decision-making process. Additionally, Mr. O’Malley led Ameritech’s Senior Diversity Council, consulting to employee panels, developing and monitoring internal and external communication, and advising leadership and employees on diversity.
Mr. O’Malley holds an M.S. in organizational development from The American University. He also holds a B.A. in history from the University of Notre Dame.
Previously he has served on the leadership team of Healing the Heart of Diversity sponsored by the Fetzer Institute and has served on the board of the Chicago Council on Urban Affairs.
