Senior Principal, Healthcare Services 

Ms. Smith is a Senior Principal with the Healthcare Services practice for Korn Ferry and is affiliated with the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Ms. Smith supports clients to synchronize strategy and talent to drive superior performance by designing structures, roles and responsibilities; as well as identifying and developing the right talent to bring their strategy to life. Her focus is Leadership and Professional Development as well as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Ms. Smith has 16 years’ experience as an executive human resource leader to encompass development and implementation of organizational strategy. She has successfully driven results to improve employee engagement, organizational and leadership development, workforce and succession planning. Ms. Smith has also implemented and supported Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies that have successfully impacted business results.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Smith has held executive human resource positions at large healthcare systems, nationally recognized for excellence. She has held the positions of Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President. In addition, Ms. Smith has also served as the founding chapter president and volunteer executive board member for a professional healthcare membership organization.

Ms. Smith holds a Masters’ degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Strayer University. As well as certifications from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) as a Senior Professional in human resources.
