Mr. Whitlock has a diverse background in consulting and business development at both the national and global level. His experience working with organizations in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, technology, and financial industries affords him a strong understanding of the business issues that challenge various functional areas across organizations.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Whitlock held the following positions: Vice President of Corporate Sales, Director of Global Sales and National Sales Director.
Working with clients to improve their performance has been the foundation of Mr. Whitlock 's career for the last 15 years. He has worked with organizations to help them improve employee retention, design more effective leadership development and succession programs, and align their talent and business strategies.
Mr. Whitlock worked with a Fortune 100 medical device and pharmaceutical firm to help design a development program for their high potential leaders and a program for GM succession planning. He worked with a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical firm to design programs for the development of high potentials to increase retention. Mr. Whitlock also worked with leaders in the organization to develop a program to provide more visibility for the promotion of women executives, and helped design a program for their development.
Mr. Whitlock's consultative approach ensures that client leaders are equipped to build the organizational capability needed to address short- and long-term business challenges.
Mr. Whitlock holds a bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in business from University of Illinois, Champaign.
