Senior Client Partner, Healthcare Services

Arnold A. Sherrin is a Senior Client Partner in Korn Ferry’s Philadelphia office. He is a member of the Academic Healthcare Services Market and the Education specialty teams.

Mr. Sherrin’s career spans more than 35 years in management consulting and healthcare administration within academic medical centers. Since joining the Firm in 1997, he has conducted more than 1,000 executive-level search assignments for clients in the health care industry. Searches have included CEO; CFO; CHRO; Chief Medical Officer; Deans for Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Public Health, Nursing, and Population Health; Chair; Chief; and Institute Directors.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Sherrin served as the vice president and COO of the PriMed division of NYLCare Health Plan, Inc.  He also served as a senior manager in the health care practices of Deloitte & Touche LLP and Arthur Andersen & Co. 

Mr. Sherrin also served as Vice President of Operations at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and the Assistant Executive Director of Clinical and Ancillary Services at Hahnemann University Hospital.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Sherrin served as the vice president and COO of the PriMed division of NYLCare Health Plan, Inc.  He also served as a senior manager in the health care practices of Deloitte & Touche LLP and Arthur Andersen & Co.

As a health care consultant, Mr. Sherrin has served more than 100 client organizations throughout the United States in the hospital, managed care, ambulatory care, universities, and biotechnology industries.  His consulting experience includes business strategy development, operational improvement, performance improvement, organizational redesign, and compensation planning.

Mr. Sherrin holds a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from Temple University, and Bachelor of Science in Economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
