Active in diversified manufacturing, chemicals (commodities and agri-chem), and automotive (largely Tier 1 suppliers), Mr. Stencil works with private equity, public and otherwise privately held companies, focused on delivering top talent in CEO, P&L, broad SC&O and human resources (CHRO) roles. He works to build stronger relationships with his counterparts in Europe and APAC to better serve multinational clients whose work spans the globe.

Mr. Stencil has extensive experience in senior leadership, strategy and talent management roles at global search and consulting firms. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Stencil was a partner at a major global executive search firm and a member of their Industrial Practice, specializing in industrial manufacturing and supply chain. His focus was helping private equity investors and multinational clients acquire and develop their talent and build leadership teams. Earlier in his career he was a partner within several consulting firms, where he focused on leadership assessment and development, strengths-building, employee and customer engagement.

Mr. Stencil is a former Scarlet & Grey scholar and earned his bachelor's degree from Ohio State University. He holds an M.B.A. with an emphasis on strategic decision-making from Colorado State University and an M.S. in psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. Having lived in Brazil, he is also a fluent Portuguese speaker and conversational Spanish speaker.

Mr. Stencil is an Eagle Scout and an active District and Council leader with the Boy Scouts of America. He is a member of the board at LifeAct, an adolescent suicide prevention non-profit.
