5 questions for creating your ESG & Sustainability model

One of the first things we ask companies when we start to talk to them about ESG and the first thing that I'll ask you, is why are you doing it? It's only by understanding why you are doing it are we able to help you to pull the right levers for change.
There are five questions to ask as an organization.
The first one is around what is the purpose for ESG and sustainability, why are you doing this?
The second question is around the board and if the board is set up in order to oversee and support ESG and sustainability in the right way.
The third question is around leadership and talent and the skills needed in order to transform.
The fourth question is around, how do we organize as, as a company around ESG and sustainability? Does our operating model need to change? Does our organizational structure and all of the governance that supports that need to change? How are we going to measure change?
How do we engage our people, how do we make sure that we are having the right rewards?
It’s important not to just look at a standard set of metrics when you're thinking about ESG. It's really, really important again to understand what is critical for your business.
