Finding Finland’s Future Business Leaders

These days, Finland is a global leader in many areas, including education and renewable energy, and overall social progress. It is a land known for sisu, a cultural attribute that roughly translates as stoicism, grit and bravery.

But experts say Finnish leaders can't rely on sisu to plot a course for the future. So this year, Korn Ferry organized emotional intelligence workshops in the country. From the research, Korn Ferry identified five competencies—Self-Awareness, Achievement Orientation, Adaptability, Empathy,
and Inspirational Leadershipd—which will shape the future of Finnish business leaders.
