Principal, Global Nonprofit & Government Affairs Practices
Dayna Keene is a Principal and key member of the Global Nonprofit and Government Affairs Practices.
Dayna works closely with prominent corporations, associations, and mission-driven nonprofit organizations at local, national, and international levels. Dayna specializes in the recruitment of a diversity of CEOs and senior-level executives.
In addition to her role in recruitment, Dayna achieved a remarkable milestone as the first Principal at Korn Ferry to embark on a comprehensive two-month international tour, spanning nine countries across Europe. During this expedition, Dayna dedicated her time toward building valuable connections within the firm, engaging with colleagues, clients, and candidates abroad. Her focus was on expanding Korn Ferry’s engagement in the public and non-profit sectors abroad, strategically enhancing the network to better serve organizations with a global footprint.
Dayna joined Korn Ferry after three years in executive search consulting where her focus was on the higher education, healthcare, and non-profit sectors. Dayna came to executive search from the Washington State Department of Health where she was a Communication Consultant, managing the quality assurance process for 15+ public health programs across two offices.
Earlier in her career, Dayna served as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural South Africa working on grassroots efforts to address HIV prevention and care. Dayna earned her M.S. in Global Health from Northwestern University which afforded her the opportunity to spend six weeks living in the Philippines working in a remote island clinic. She also received her B.S in Communication from Cornell University. At that time, she completed the Semester at Sea program, visiting 11 countries across LatAm, Africa, and Asia.
